National WWII Museum

The National WWII Museum, which opened in June 2000 tells the story of the American experience in the War, told through multimedia exhibits, unique artifacts, and oral histories. The museum, designed by Gallagher & Associates and located on a six-acre campus in New Orleans’s Warehouse District takes visitors on an informative, immersive and emotional journey of the American Experience in WWII.

The museum was recently ranked by Trip Advisor Travelers Choice Awards as the #2 museum in the United States as well as the #2 museum in the World.
